Gelatine Lifters Black 18cm x 36cm

Description

Gelatine Lifters Black 18cm x 36cm

Gelatine Lifters Black 18cm x 36cm provide forensic investigators with a practical method for recovering shoeprints, footwear impressions, dust marks and trace evidence. The wider 18 cm format offers good coverage, while the 36 cm length suits longer footwear impressions and larger areas of evidence.

The jet-black gelatine surface creates strong contrast for light-coloured dust and particulate material. As a result, tread patterns, fine marks and other footwear characteristics can become easier to examine, photograph and document.

Gelatine Lifters Black 18cm x 36cm for Shoeprint Recovery

These black gelatine lifters offer a practical solution for recovering footwear impressions from suitable surfaces.

The 18 x 36 cm format provides greater coverage than smaller lifting sheets. Therefore, investigators can capture more of an outsole pattern in a single lift.

This can help preserve important footwear characteristics, including:

• Tread blocks
• Grooves
• Wear patterns
• Cuts and damage
• Fine dust impressions
• Other visible outsole features

Black Gelatine Lifters for High-Contrast Evidence

The jet-black surface provides excellent contrast for lighter evidence.

Dust, powders and fine particulate material can stand out clearly against the dark background. Consequently, recovered shoeprints can display strong visual detail.

These lifters can support:

• Shoeprint examination
• Footwear comparison
• Dust mark recovery
• Crime scene photography
• Evidence documentation
• Forensic training

Suitable lighting can further improve the visibility of fine tread detail.

Rubber Backed Gelatine Lifters

The rubber backing provides flexibility and support during evidence recovery.

This construction helps the lifter follow small variations in the surface underneath. Therefore, the gelatine layer can make close contact with suitable smooth, grained or lightly textured substrates.

The flexible backing also makes the lifter easier to position over the area of interest.

18 x 36 cm Gelatine Lifters for Larger Impressions

The 18 x 36 cm size provides a useful working area for footwear impressions and other extended marks.

Its wider surface helps investigators recover a more complete section of a shoeprint while maintaining good control during application.

In addition, the larger format may assist with partial tyre tread marks, dust impressions and other areas of transferable evidence.

This can reduce the need to overlap several smaller lifting sheets.

Black Gelatine Lifters for Trace Evidence Recovery

Fine dust and particulate material may contain useful forensic information. Therefore, good contact between the gelatine surface and the substrate can prove important.

The flexible lifting layer helps collect transferable material while maintaining visible detail.

At the same time, the jet-black background provides strong contrast for lighter material.

As a result, Gelatine Lifters Black 18cm x 36cm can support both evidence recovery and subsequent visual examination.

Gelatine Lifters for Forensic Photography

Forensic photography plays an important role in recording recovered footwear evidence.

The black background can help tread patterns and light-coloured particulate material stand out clearly under suitable lighting. Consequently, investigators can photograph the recovered impression for documentation, comparison and further examination.

The 18 x 36 cm format also provides enough surface area to capture a significant section of a footwear mark on one lifter.

Professional Shoeprint and Footwear Evidence Recovery

These rubber-backed gelatine lifters combine a larger working area with flexibility, low adhesion and strong visual contrast.

They are suitable for Crime Scene Investigators, Scenes of Crime Officers, footwear specialists, forensic laboratories, universities, specialist search teams and forensic training organisations.

For professional shoeprint lifting, footwear impression recovery and trace evidence collection, the 18 x 36 cm black gelatine lifter provides a versatile addition to crime scene examination equipment.
