The Economy PCR UV Cabinet provides a practical and cost-effective workspace for PCR preparation and other laboratory procedures where DNA and RNA contamination control is important. The UVT-B-AR combines direct UV irradiation with an enclosed UV air recirculation system to support cleaner laboratory working conditions.

The cabinet incorporates a 25 W, 254 nm UV lamp in the upper section of the working chamber. UV exposure helps inactivate contaminating DNA and RNA within the workspace.

Typically, users expose the chamber for approximately 15–30 minutes, depending on their laboratory procedure. In addition, the digital timer provides accurate control of UV exposure for periods of up to 24 hours.

For additional safety, the cabinet automatically switches off the open UV lamp when the front panel opens.

Built-In UV Air Recirculator

An integrated 25 m³/hour UV cleaner-recirculator continuously processes air within the cabinet.

The recirculation system combines a UV lamp, dust filters and a fan. Consequently, air passes close to the UV source while the recirculator keeps the UV radiation enclosed.

The manufacturer specifies a recirculator efficiency of greater than 99% per cycle.

Stainless Steel Working Area

The Economy PCR UV Cabinet includes a stainless steel working surface for laboratory procedures. A metal framework provides additional strength, while glass panels with UV-protective film enclose the working area.

Furthermore, the adjustable front opening provides three operating positions for convenient access.

Integrated Workplace Lighting

A 15 W white lamp provides clear illumination within the working area. As a result, laboratory personnel can easily handle samples, tubes, pipettes and other equipment.

The cabinet also includes an internal power socket and an access port for suitable laboratory equipment.
