NIK Test D -LSD

The NIK LSD Test (Test D) utilises a Modified Ehrlich’s Reagent to provide a specialised solution for the presumptive identification of LSD (Lysergic Acid Diethylamide). Because LSD is extremely potent and typically found in minute quantities on blotter paper, gel tabs, or thin films, forensic investigators require a highly sensitive chemical reagent for accurate field detection. The NIK system features a heavy-duty, reinforced plastic pouch containing two separate chemical ampoules. This sequential process allows for a controlled chemical reaction within a single, secure unit, reducing the risk of false positives from other non-narcotic alkaloids. To perform the analysis, an investigator places a small sample of the suspected material into the pouch and breaks the internal glass ampoules in order.
