VentiSwab™ Regular Swab
The VentiSwab™ Double Capped Swab provides a reliable solution for collecting trace evidence in forensic laboratories, crime scene investigations, and evidence handling environments.
It features a 150 mm plastic shaft and a regular rayon tip. Each swab comes inside an individual protective tube, which includes space for sample details and chain-of-custody information. As a result, users can identify, record, and manage samples more clearly.
The double capped design helps protect the swab before and after use. It also helps reduce contamination risk during handling, transport, and storage.
In addition, the VentiSwab™ includes a pop-off ventilation plug at the end of the tube. After sample collection, users can remove the plug to allow air to circulate inside the tube. This helps the swab air dry when required, while still keeping the sample contained.
The VentiSwab™ supports ISO 18385:2016 Forensic DNA Grade applications. Therefore, it suits environments where contamination control and DNA integrity are critical.
